I just finished wrapping a Kaneie tsuka for a customer that goes to a very fine looking unokubi-zukuri blade with soe-hi in kesho polish.
The stock tsuka shape was touched up and the samegawa panels were custom dyed a deep blood red by request before being wrapped in black nubuck leather tsuka-ito.
The Koumori themed fuchi and kashira are blackened steel from Fred Lohman and the aged brass menuki were from Hyper-Cafe.
This sword is very nimble and fun to handle and as always with Kaneie, the polish and hamon are just a pleasure to admire.
