Well, I’ve been plugging away on this new website for a couple of weeks now and it seems I’m nearly done…if that’s even really possible. I’ve quickly had to learn how to make a WordPress site from the ground up, which to a guy who barely mastered emails, was fairly excruciating.
After I finally got the basic site formatted, I decided to switch hosting providers and then began “a whole nother” dark time in my techno education of which I barely made it out. I’ve since fixed the bugs and added most of my content, and even did a little coding (yep, I said that), and now only have a few more things to take care of. After that, I don’t want to even look at my computer for at least a couple of days! Hell, if I didn’t have Mr. Spock at my side for um…technical support, I wouldn’t have gotten through this
I am glad to have had my tsukamaki work to help balance it all out during this time, at least that’s something real and tangible that I have total control over. Pulling the ito as tightly as possible did also help to relieve some of the cyber-space induced stress ;)
While I’ve been open to exploring different avenues of employment or career opportunities in my lifetime, I can say without a doubt that web designer will never be a path I choose take…willingly that is. Big props to the web geeks, and thank you support team!
